Dobromilsky Castle kind Gerburt . Located among the beech forest on Blind Mountain ( 566 m ) 3 km to the south of Dobromila . Lviv Castellan S. Gerburt began building his brick and stone in 1566 on the site of a wooden fortification, founded in 1450 N. Gerburt , but soon burned by the Tatars . In 1614 J. Gerburt thoroughly rebuilt the stronghold . Oval shape Dobromilskogo castle in terms consistent with the outline of the mountains. The ruins of the north- western part , consisting of the remains of a massive multi-faceted tower ( inner diameter of about 17 m) and fragments of divergent from her walls, length 25-26 m tower bunk with entrance gate . In the first tier of the tower in two levels with a bow-shaped slits placed jumpers. The second tier is separated by a small ledge. Its walls are cut rectangular windows . Tower completes high attic with decorative orb similar to the castle in Attica . Old Village ( Pustomytovsky district) . Same attic completed defensive walls , the top of which is located on the second storey of the tower. Renaissance attic somewhat mitigates the harsh face of solid walls ( thickness up to 2 m). Loopholes lower tier tower with large chambers ( internal ) and lateral holes in the cheeks were intended to conduct cross-fire . Since the XVIII century. Castle abandoned. Unlike other castles palatial had exclusively defensive value , and its accommodations are used only for temporary residence.
