Golden spa park Bad Zwischenahn
Germany
The Bad Zwischenahn spa park in autumn presents itself as an oasis of peace and color that marks the transition from the lively summer season to the quiet pre-Christmas season. Here are the key features of the spa park in autumn: 1. Colors and atmosphere "Golden Autumn" by the sea: The park's lush vegetation, especially the deciduous trees, transforms into a spectacular play of colors of bright red, gold and brown tones. Although the rhododendrons' main bloom is over, this autumn color creates a particularly warm and inviting atmosphere. View of the Zwischenahner Meer: The spa park is located directly on the shore of the Zwischenahner Meer. In autumn, the numerous benches and viewing platforms offer atmospheric views of the water, often in the crisp autumn air or shrouded in morning mist. The low sun bathes the scene in a soft, warm light. Peace and deceleration: After the summer rush, a noticeable sense of calm returns to the spa gardens. The park now particularly invites you to take long walks and reflect, which fits perfectly with the character of Bad Zwischenahn as a mud spa. 2. Events and meeting points The Wandelhalle and the Old Kurhaus on the edge of the park become the central event locations in autumn and offer protection from cooler weather: Health and senior citizens' days: Often in October, trade fairs and lectures are held in the Wandelhalle that focus on the health and well-being of spa guests. Cultural events: The Wandelhalle and the Hall of Mirrors are the venue for regular spa concerts, shanty choir performances, markets and smaller cultural events. Thanksgiving and wine festivals: Sometimes smaller wine festivals or Thanksgiving events take place on the open-air stage or near the foyer at the end of September/beginning of October to celebrate the end of the harvest season. Ammerländer Farmhouse Open-Air Museum: The open-air museum integrated into the spa park with its historic buildings and the old windmill offers a picturesque backdrop for visitors in autumn. 3. Transition to winter time Towards the end of autumn, often at the end of November, preparation for Advent begins. The spa park and the lake shore are then decorated with lights and stalls for the “Advent Market” or the “Winter Wonder World” and get you in the mood for the Christmas season. In summary, the Bad Zwischenahn spa park is a picturesque place of transition in autumn, combining the intense colors of nature with the soothing silence of the off-season and a warm cultural offering.

More About Germany

Germany? Before the beginning there was Ginnungagap, an empty space of nothingness, filled with pure creative power. (Sort of like the inside of my head.)And it ends with Ragnarok, the twilight of the Gods. In between is much fighting, betrayal and romance. Just as a good Godly story should be.Heroes have their own graveyard called Valhalla. Unfortunately we cannot show you a panorama of it at this time, nor of the lovely Valkyries who are its escort service.Hail Odin, wandering God wielding wisdom and wand! Hail Freya, hail Tyr, hail Thor!Odin made the many lakes and the fish in them. In his traverses across the lands he caused there to be the Mulheim Bridge in Cologne, as did he make the Mercury fountain, Mercury being of his nature. But it is to the mighty Thor that the Hammering Man gives service.Between the time of the Nordic old ones and that of modern Frankfort there may have been a T.Rex or two on the scene. At least some mastodons for sure came through for lunch, then fell into tar pits to become fossils for us to find. And there we must leave you, O my most pure and holy children.Text by Steve Smith.
