Chongqing

Coral dam located in the "Hop peaks around 1000, on three sides a large Jiang Liu's" city of Chongqing near the confluence of the Jialing River and Yangtze River over about four kilometers, is located near the Yangtze River concave side of the main channel. Dam axis to the line with the mainstream, about 1.1 km, an area of 0.275 square kilometers. Shaba head slightly higher than the tail-relief. According to classification should be upstream river river island deposit.

 Coral dam, is a deposition from the Yangtze river formed a natural gravel Island. In 1933, then the Sichuan Provincial Government allocated funds to build the coral dam airport. Coral Dam Airport is a seasonal airport, with the Yangtze River tidal fluctuations and open and close.
