You are cleared to panorama. Total lunar eclipse on January 21st 2019, 05.40am. End of night shift. Homework had shown this was a promising location with the red moon down the runway and the terminals in the background. An unlikely amount of luck and atc clearance was involved to make it happen. The airport vehicle with compulsory flash lights on had to stay with me which created challenging light conditions to work with. Initial stitch attempts failed to give good results. Two years after the fact I tried the edit again with the help of improved panorama editors and my understanding of how to use them. Some effort went into cleaning up the tripod and shadows. The choice was made to leave the fares in the sky in order to protect the position of the stars.
