The Saaser Vispa forms next to Tälliboden close to Mount Moropass, almost on the border with Italy, goes along and enters the Mattmark Dam. Then it forms again, passing next to the chapel and Zermeiggern power station. Continuing, it passes through Saas Grund, Saas Balen and Stalden Saas joins the Matter Vispa which form the Vispa and flows into the Rhône River in the city of Visp. Along its route it contributes to the production of electrical energy in several existing plants.
