The town of Killarney is located on the north eastern shore of Lough Leane. From here you can make many most beautiful trips to the Killarney National Park. When you drive up to Ladies View and you keep following the road, you will reach a pass on the N71 – Moll’s Gap. In the 1820s, when the pass road was under construction, a Moll Kissane ran a sibin – after her the pass is called.
