置身在富貴角海岬，代表著你正佇立於台灣的最北端。

舊名為『打賓』或『打鞭』的富貴角，原來是此地平埔族原住民的譯音。清乾隆27年(西元1762年)，荷蘭人法倫泰因為在其所著作的《新舊印度誌》中，將富貴角記為『hoek』，意思為海岬，後人便採其譯音稱此地為『富基角』，直到日治時期才更名為『富貴角』。
