The Park of Tierno Galván is located in the south-east of the city of Madrid (Spain). With 45 hectares, he is one of those of greater surface of the city. It was begun to construct in 1986, during the mandate of the mayor who gives name him and to who would dedicate itself to him after his death. Besides a dedicated place to him, with a statue, also it welcomes in his enclosure the planetarium of the city, an audience outdoors and a cinema of system IMAX.
