The Valley of Fire State Park is located about 50 miles / 85 km north of Las Vegas and a well known recreation and sightseeing area for visitors to Las Vegas. It is not as monumental as Arches or Bryce Canyon or the other well known National Parks but it is surely worth a visit.

The Seven Sisters parking lot is equiped with tables, benches and barbecue fire places for a nice picnic in the park.
