Butt Of Lewis Lighthouse
Scotland

Located at the northern extremity of the Isle of Lewis, the Butt of Lewis is also the northernmost point in the Western Isles. Exposed to the full force of the Atlantic, the rugged and dramatic cliffs have been officially recognised as the windiest place in the British Isles.

The red brick lighthouse was was built between 1859 and 1862 by David and Thomas Stevenson.
