Dragonera island, Cala en Basset and the tower

In the west coast of Mallorca next to San Telmo the mountain range called Tramuntana has its first steps. Here you can enjoy a fantastic view of Dragonera island so called to seem the silhouette of an old dragon, some mountain routes as popular as the ancient monastery La Trapa's ascending by walking, or the little hidden path that follows the line of coast until its arrival to the old XVIth century defense tower and the stones beach both called "d'En Basset", family name of one of the knights that arrived on 1229 to Mallorca with the Jame's the First's fleet and that's why he received this lands in the island as payment to his helpful to the king. The tower was modified and used for the last time during the spanish civil war (1936-39) as a radio station.

As a little joke you can find ten times my little daughter Claudia...can you see her all of them?
