Frittezang bus stop Elisenbrunnen
Aachen

The architect of this bus stop shelter is Peter Eisenman. In Germany he is also known as the architect of the "Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe" located in Berlin.

The citizen of Aachen gave this shelter the name "Frittezang" because it looks like a large fork for handling french fries. It is also known as "Wartekralle", that means "A claw to wait under for the bus".
