Jingtong Coal Memorial Park(Ramp Underground Pit)
Taiwan

Jingtong is the last station of the Pingxi Branch Rail Line. Because of the coal rush in the past, it brought many people to settle here. Even now, there are still many mining artifacts that remain.

There are coal piling fields, coal rail tracks, Japanese staff dorms that are scattered all over the town. So if you visit here, the best way to really experience this town is on foot. Look at the Japanese buildings, touch the rough texture of the coal carts, taste the local famous chicken roll and miner’s lunchbox, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.
