Pampagrande pyramid at Jimbe (formattive archaeologycal site)
Peru

From time immemorial we have been thinking that this mound of earth and boulders keeps interesting information about our ancestors. That's why we call generically "Huaca" and we retain it almost instinctively. Fortunately our ancestors in those days could not get water to the top, otherwise it would have become cultivated land. Today is shaping up as one of the many attractions of this peaceful town, nestled at the foot of the Cordillera Negra.
