Polana, Greek Catholic church. St. Nicholas

Greek Catholic church. St. Nicholas Roman Catholic church today. Transfiguration. Temple is conventionally dated to the year 1790, which would mean that it is the oldest surviving church in Bieszczady and its patron was Wawrzyniec Gorski. However, it is probably even older. Local tradition has it that it was built at the turn of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries as a manorial chapel landowners, which were then Urbańscy. It is a monument to the Wooden Architecture Route.
