The Geisel Library and Snake Path at UCSD
La Jolla
The Geisel Library at the University of California San Diego, USA, was designed by William Pereira and built in 1970. It was named for Audrey and Theodor Seuss Geisel who is better known as Dr. Seuss. Running up to the library is a walk called the "Snake Path". It is part of the Stuart Collection and it was created by Alexis Smith. On the opposite side of the library is the Warren Engineering Mall and the Do Ho Suh piece, "Fallen Star" which is also part of the Stuart Collection.
