This 360° panorama was taken from the rise just above Boka Slagbaai, where the landscape opens into one of the most expansive views in Washington Slagbaai National Park. From this higher vantage point, you can look out across the deep blue water of the northern coast and toward the historic Slagbaai settlement below. The old buildings, once part of Bonaire’s plantation era, sit against the shoreline with the Caribbean stretching out behind them. The elevation here highlights the rugged limestone terrain, scattered dry‑forest vegetation, and the wide horizon that defines the northern side of the island. It’s one of the best places in the park to see both the coastline and the historic Slagbaai complex in a single sweeping view.
