-Berchtesgaden- Königssee Malerwinkel

Den weitesten Ausblick über den im Berchtesgadener Land gelegenen Königssee bietet der Malerwinkel. Möchte man ihn jedoch in seiner vollen Größe sehen, muss man höher hinaus, wie etwa auf den Jenner. Ansonsten geht es vorbei an der Boots-Anlegestelle eine kleine Steigung hinauf, auf der man zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten auf einem ausgeschilderten Rundweg den Malerwinkel erreicht. Dort angekommen kann man den Königsse auf einer Länge von gut 7 Kilometern überblicken. Ins Auge fällt die auf der rechten Seite direkt aus dem Königssee aufsteigende Echowand. Dort wird beim Passieren der Boote von denselben Flügelhorn gespielt und man kann das Echo genießen, auch vom Malerwinkel aus. Auf dem hinteren Drittel ist die Wallfahrtskirche St. Bartholomä gerade noch zu erkennen, eine der Anlaufpunkte der Boote.
