Austin, Nevada, is located on U.S. Highway 50 which is known as "The Loneliest Road in America". The portion of US 50 that runs through Neveda is an amazing stretch of road where many times you will wonder if civilization exists beyond the road in front you, the road in back of you and the occasional car passing you!
