The Franciscan Monastery Church is the dominant building of the largest Miltenberger square, the Engelplatz (Angel Square). The place got its name from a former inn. In 1667, the construction of the church began to plans by the court architect Antonio Petrini. Interesting is the round-arched main portal and the Baroque interior design of the church.
