Mondfeld - ferry operations on the river
Franconie

Mondfeld is a district of Wertheim in Franconia and is nestled in the river valley on the northeastern end of Baden-Württemberg. The border between Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria runs here in the middle of the River Main. Mondfeld is 7 km from Wertheim and has about 910 residents. The connection to Stadtprozelten (Bayern) is via a ferry in commuter traffic.
