望火楼，顾名思义就是站在最高处观察火情。和一些兄弟城市一样，南宁市的望火楼当时也是城区中最高的建筑。据资料记载，重建于1952年的望火楼，楼高29米，是上世纪50年代名副其实的南宁第一高楼，也是广西第一高楼。

现在是南宁文物保存,为南宁人民永远的回忆
