Renowned Berlin Mural Artist Gert Neuhaus At Work In Coburg

In May 2022 renowned mural artist Gert Neuhaus from Berlin painted the facade of a former candy factory in Coburg (Upper Franconia, Bavaria). Coburg is the birthplace of Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, husband of Queen Victoria of Great Britain. Queen Victoria's mother was also born in Coburg. Therefore, a motif was chosen that depicts Albert and Victoria. The address of the building is Albertsplatz 5 a, also a reference to the city's greatest son.
