Scotch Peaks - III (2968m/9738') summit
Montagnes Rocheuses - Alberta

View from the third summit of Scotch Peaks (elev. 2,968m) in the Starbird Ridge of the Purcell Mountains west of Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia.  The peak has good 360 degree views of the Catamount & North Star Glaciers & nearby Black Fang, Mount Galloway, Mount Harmon, North Star Mountain, & Mount Alpha Centauri.  Haze from fires around the province minimize distant views however one can see The Bugaboos to the north.  There are four summits to the Scotch Peaks with this summit being the lowest in elevation.
