Alexander Nevsky church. Egorievsk

City Egorievsk located 100 kilometers south of Moscow. Founded in 1778 by decree of Empress Catherine II and named in honor of St. George. In ancient times, said: "St. George" from it and there was a name. Saint George is the patron saint of the city of His victorious arm with a spear is depicted on the city coat of arms.
