The Alte Prager Hütte (Old Prager Hut) is a former alpine refuge, erected around 1870 above the Schlatenkees glacier in the Hohe Tauern national park, East Tyrol, Austria. A new, larger hut was built in 1901 and the old hut is now a listed museum.
Looking to the south, one can see the lateral moraine of the glacier's peak in ~1850. The glacier reached an ice thickness of around 150 m here and has now largely disappeared. Only in the south-west, a narrow glacier tongue is still visible as a remnant of the once mighty ice sheet.
