Arches National Park - Under the Delicate Arch
Utah

After the efforts of the Delicate Arch Trail that leads to the Delicate Arch you are awarded with the direct view of the Delicate Arch.

This panorama was taken directly under the Arch. Being here and enjoying the area definitely compensates for the effort of getting here!

The trail up here is one of the most exhausting trails in the park. From the parking lot to the Arch the elevation change is approx. 480 ft (146 m) and the overall round trip is approx. 3 mil. (5 km). The Delicate Arch is best viewed during Sunset, but always keep in mind that you have to go back afterwards. With no lights, it can get pitch dark there quite fast. Also remember to carry enough water with you for the trip, especially in summer months it is hot here and there are rarly placed to hide in the shade.
