Bahnhof Hamm Westfalen
Der Bahnhof Hamm (Westfalen) ist der wichtigste Bahnhof der nordrhein-westfälischen Stadt Hamm. Sein imposantes Empfangsgebäude wurde am 14. Oktober 1920 eröffnet und ist ein Aushängeschild und markantes Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Der Bahnhof dient als wichtiger Eisenbahnknoten in Nordrhein-Westfalen, besonders für das östliche Ruhrgebiet. Er ist Teil des Netzes der Deutschen Bahn AG. Seit 2001 halten die Bus-Linien rund um die Insel, welche durch ihr eindrucksvolles Glasdach auffällt. Das Heinrich-von-Kleist-Forum wurde 2010 fertiggestellt und beheimatet die Stadtbücherei, die Volkshochschule und die SRH Fachhochschule.
