Bo Peep Drivers Club, The Firle Hillclimb Revival, Bo Peep Bostal, Sussex
England
The Firle Hill Climb at Bo Peep Bostal was started in 1949 by The Bentley Drivers Club. It is relatively short but steep and rises to the finish line at top of the South Downs. It is a picturesque location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Discontinued in 1967 due to safety concerns it was revived as a demonstration event for period road registered cars. Among the entry of 80 cars there are a wide variety of interesting and unusual vehicles, some with significant competition history and others that are rare or unusual included. The event takes place one week after The Goodwood Revival meeting in September and has raised more than £25,000 for charity in the five years that it has been held.
