Gigapixel view from the summit of Bully Choop Mountain (elev. 6,974') south of Lewiston, California.  From here one can see the Trinity Alps & Mt. Shasta to the north, Lassen Peak to the east, the Central Valley to the southeast, & south towards the Mt. Linn area.  The name is derived from the Wintun Indian phrase "Bo-li Chu-ip" meaning "high sharp peak".  The snow was ice hard & the wind was brutal up here.  The fire lookout was constructed in 1978.
