Castelo Rodrigo, Palace of Cristovao de Moura, entrance
Portugal

Walls - Castelo Rodrigo still preserves the medieval plan of a circular square with a wall of walls, which would have been initially built by the Romans, when they would have built a great fort there.

Ruins of the Cristóvão de Moura Palace - it was the official residence of Cristóvão de Moura (16th and 17th centuries) who enjoyed great privileges on the part of Philip II of Spain (Philip I of Portugal), for his support in the dynastic crisis. Once the national independence was restored, this palace was set on fire by the population, nowadays in an advanced state of ruin.
