Cong Abbey
Ireland

Cong Abbey is a historical Augustinian monastery at Cong Town in the Galway / Mayo County border in Republic of Ireland. Built in the 7th century, this abbey was destroied about 12th century and refounded about 1135 when the last High King of Ireland, Rory O'Connor constructed another buildings before Norman invasion, to live there until his death in 1198.
