Cottonwood Pass

A quick jaunt uphill from Horseshoe Meadows is Cottonwood Pass, a southern Sierra gem along the Pacific Crest Trail. Moving on from here one enters the southern Whitney zone, and our ultimate goal, the pristine alpine Miter Basin.
