Crimea Yalta Livadia Palace

Livadia Palace - former summer residence of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II - the main sight of Yalta. Livadia architectural and park complex - one of the greatest architectural monuments and park art.

 The palace erected on the draft remarkable Yalta architect, academician NP Krasnova (1865-1939) in the style of the Italian Renaissance. In the Livadia Palace complex, in addition to the Big Palace includes svitsky building, the palace courtyard Minister Baron Fredericks built simultaneously with the palace, the Palace Church in the name of Vozdvizheniya honest Cross, built in 1872, and the Italian courtyard. By the way, the gate of the inner courtyard of Italian, as evidenced by NP Krasnov, "the Italian works, in 1750 moved from Verona," and not made Ural masters, as alleged in the publication of recent years and the stories the guides.
