The Des Moines Art Center offers art classes as well as a comprehensive mix of Dutch and French masters in painting.  They are well known for their modern art and have many famous sculptures indoors and outdoors.

Three wings designed over the years by globally famous architects Eliel Saarinen, I.M. Pei, and Richard Meier provide a distintive yet pleasing exterior and a flowing and seamless interior to best view art.
