The Dungeness landscape is dominated by two nuclear power stations. The now decommissioned Dungeness A is sited next to the active Dungeness B.
Dungeness is a large headland jutting out into the English Channel from the Kent coast. The unique landscape of low-lying shingle is classified as a desert and is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. As if that wasn't surreal enough the area is peppered with dozens of small dwellings, lighthouses and a nuclear power station.
