St. Nicolas Serbian church (Serbian Orthodox church) in Eger,Hungary

The Serbian and Greek families having fled the Turks and settled in Eger in the 17th c. had the late Baroque Greek Orthodox, or Serbian church built. Its wall of icons rich in carvings and and gold plating make the church one of the nicest ones in Hungary.
