Erasmus Kapelle
South Tyrol (Bolzano-Bozen)

Since the early 12th century the small chapel of Saint Erasmus (Erasmuskapelle) exists inside Kehlburg castle. Amongst other things, Saint Erasmus, also known as Saint Elmo, is adored as helper in need in the case of stomach ache and gastric trouble.

Today only the decaying walls remain from the once richly adorned chapel.
