It is located in the corner of the Uray Avenue and the street in Camişerif Neighborhood of Akdeniz District, Mersin. It is known to be the oldest mosque in Mersin. It is stated on the three-line epitaph carved on the northern gate that the mosque was built in 1286 AH (1869-1870 AD), and it was repaired in 1317 AH (1899-1900 AD). It was renovated in 2008 by General Directorate of Foundations.
