Frederiksborg Castle - Denmark

The ancient county of Frederiksborg is famous for its Renaissance castle; This was built on some small islands on the Slotsø lake in the city of Hillerød (about 30 km from Copenhagen). In the past it was a fortress and is now a national museum. Has over 70 rooms open to the public, with gilded ceilings, tapestries on the walls and many paintings.

Tour 2014 organized by the Committee of Verciano.
