Switzerland is a foreign land to me. Most of my experience in the mountains comes from spending time on the South Island of New Zealand, where from any decently sized mountain, if you look down into the valley below, you'll likely struggle to find many hints of any civilization. In Switzerland the opposite is common place. Here from 2513 metres above sea level you can peer down into the town below some 2000 metres lower in elevation. A friend and I bivvied at the summit which allowed plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photographs.
