The road to Grosvenor Arch branches off the Cottonwood Road, which runs 47 miles across the national monument. Unpaved roads in this area (there are no paved ones) are usually okay for pickups and 4wd when dry, but rain or snow will make the surface amazingly slippery and the roads impassable.
