Guarda, Cathedral, main facade

Main facade facing west, with a primitive angled gable end visible, being torn by a depressed arch portal, with internal corbels, which intertwine, giving rise to a niche with a corbel and canopy, where the image of Our Lady of the Assumption; it is flanked by two thin columns, resting on high bases with logs and scotia, appearing, in the intercolumns, corbels decorated with foliage protected by canopies; the outer column extends over the niche of the Virgin, in a canopial arch, with inner and outer corbels, flanked by two mighty giants, consisting of wide bases, from which bundles of twisted columns emerge, ending in pinnacles also torsos and with a flower. .
