On the roof of former coal mine "Nordstern" in Gelsenkirchen, Germany the german sculpturer Prof. Markus Lüpertz created an 18m tall sculpture with a weight of 23 tons, the "Hercules of Gelsenkirchen".
From visitors platform 90m above ground there is a great view around over central ruhr area.
