海南省海口市得胜沙路(骑楼老街)
Hainan Province

“得胜沙”古称“外沙”。位于今海口市得胜沙路一带,东起新华北路,西抵龙华路北端,长520米。海口旧城有东门、西门、南门、北门,得胜沙在城门外,依溪、临海,所以海口人也叫它外沙,取“海口外缠一片平沙”之意。据《得胜沙史话》载:“明代建的西天大士庙,当时面临大海,后来由于海潮冲积,‘外沙’出现,今富兴街、外沙后街便形成河流,称外沙河。外沙河到了民国初才逐渐填成陆地,盖起了房子,当时主要是水上疍民居住。”而早在唐朝,“白沙津”作为古渡驿站,也是常常成为历代海盗出没上岸劫掠的岸口。据方志记载,1849年(道光二十九年),海寇张十五犯海口,驾船数十艘进入海口港,清兵把总黄开广带领海口、府城一带军民奋起反抗。当时,水师兵船20余艘将出巡哨,不及防备,与海寇交战中官兵死伤不少,而海口至琼山大林一带也被海盗抢掠,人心惶惧。幸有百姓加入抗贼队伍,寇贼最终被驱赶出外沙,自此,古外沙便改称“得胜沙”。
