Holy Assumption Cave Monastery (Crimea) (

Uspensky Cave Monastery (Holy Assumption Monastery) - Orthodox monastery in Crimea. Located in the tract-Dere Mariam (Mary Gorge) near Bakhchisarai. Reports to Simferopol and Crimean Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia). Besides the monastery complex, the neighborhood is a cemetery of soldiers who died during the Crimean War of 1853-1856. (C)
