Der Hoppenlaufriedhof ist der älteste noch erhaltene Friedhof Stuttgarts.
Er wurde von 1628 bis 1951 als Friedhof genutzt. 1961 wurde zur Bundesgartenschau der Friedhof in eine Parkanlage umgewandelt, wobei die meisten Grabsteine von ihrem ursprünglichen Platz entfernt wurden um sie in eine ansehnlichere Anordnung zu bringen.
