Near the church of St. Nicholas stands 55 m high bell tower, clearly visible from any point of the city, the highest in the Bay of Kotor. It was designed by the Venetian architect Giuseppe Beato later the church in 1691. It established the town clock, imported from Venice. High bell tower has become a demonstration of wealth Perasta during its greatest prosperity.
