Inside an abandoned manganese mine in North Wales, UK
Wales
With a head torch I set up my tripod and camera (Pentax K1 and Samyang 12mm diagonally mounted) - ISO 400 exposure 10s and I started "painting" the walls and ground with the head torch, a handheld torch and a handheld LED work light. I shot about 20 images for each panorama and ended up using between 10-14 per panorama. 6 would be enough for the camera/lens combination but the "light painting the walls/water" was a bit hit and miss. The cave here is about 7m high and about 30m from the water to the horizontal rusty bar. It is about 200m from the mine entrance and without the light it is pitch black.
