Inside King Hut, Alpine National Park Victoria

High Country huts are used as refuges in snow and bad weather, Furnishings

are kept sparse to accomodate as many bodies as possible,

This hut was recently rebuilt after being burnt down and this new huts lacks the warmth and character of some of the older huts.

In good weather there is plenty of riverside camping available.
